Merry Monday!
For those of you that don’t know I’m currently studying Interactive Media at University of Cape Town. If you don’t know what what ‘Interactive Media’ means, don’t feel bad. I had no idea either until my first day of class.
Now, my problem is that I need to write code to create a simple website. Well, it’s not so much a problem as it is a fear. Why am I afraid you ask? Because I’ve got so many awesome ideas but I ain’t got no clue how to convert them into digital masterpieces. But I will take it step by step. My first step is to figure out how to use Illustrator because I need it to make a vector image for my logo. That’s right, I’m professionally cool like that.
So in case you, my dear friend, need the hook-up with tutorials on how to use Illustrator, I got you. Here’s a few nifty websites to help you out:
1) Creative Bloq
2) Vector Boom
3) Illustrator For Dummies
Alrighty, hopefully those have helped you out in some way. Here’s a My Little Pony for all you Bronies out there.
By the time you’ve watched all the tutorials and dabbled in Illustrator you’ll be able to make one of your own. Probably.
